About the Progressive The Stanford Progressive is a bi-quarterly political magazine at Stanford University.As policymakers, journalists and pundits, elected officials, organizers, entrepreneurs, academics, visionaries of every stripe, the vibrant people on this campus are helping to create change in America and abroad. This magazine reflects what we as Stanford students think of the outside world: how we understand it, how we want it to be, and how we hope to get there. Copies of the Stanford Progressive are published and distributed without charge to members of the Stanford community. They are widely available in student residences and in community centers at press date. Archives of the Progressive dating to 2003 are available online.
